Supplementary Rules

 

 

 

These rules and regulations are supplementary to the rules and regulations of the BSMA but are complimentary to them

 

Booking in

If you have your licence with Cotswold please make sure you book in by Wednesday evening to safeguard your place. You can contact me on 01905 776128 or 07733486271. Please try and phone in daytime or before 7pm.

Marshalls

All riders must provide a marshall over the age of 18yrs old. The club runs a rota system which usually works out to once every three meetings for half a day. To keep the meeting running smoothly make sure you go to your point when you are called.

Whilst marshalling make sure

  • You always look in the direction that the bikes are travelling
  • Only the person signed on as a marshall is allowed on the marshall point
  • Make sure you can see the next marshall point
  • You must never Abandon your marshall point during racing
  • You must raise your yellow flag motionless if a rider falls in your area
  • You must wave your yellow flag energetically if the incident is of a serious nature
  • If the rider appears to need medical attention wave your green and white flag
  • No children or dogs are allowed on the marshall point
  • If you see a rider who doesnot maintain their position when a yellow flag is being waved note their number and report it to a clerk of the course

You may camp overnight on the following conditions:

  • NO open fires
  • NO depositing fuel or oils onto the land
  • All dogs must be kept on leads
  • Please make sure you know where your children are and what they are doing
  • Do not empty your chemical waste into toilet units a disposal tank will be available
  • On arrival please support track build activities
  • Before you leave the field please make sure you pick up your litter
  • You are not the only people camping so please have a thought for other campers

Paddock

  • NO pit bikes
  • NO riding in the pits (there are penalties)
  • Please keep pushbikes in paddock, no pushbikes allowed in race field
